香港,2021年6月25日 – 亞洲出版業協會(「SOPA」)今天揭曉「2021年度卓越新聞獎」得獎名單,以表彰過去一年亞洲區內卓越的新聞報導。SOPA乃香港非營利團體,致力提升亞太區新聞報導水準。

頒獎儀式於星期四晚以線上形式舉行,共頒發91個獎項予重點關注區內重要議題的卓越報導,其中涉及維吾爾人目前所處的困境、中國武漢市新冠疫情的起源及環境惡化等問題。

今年,卓越新聞獎共收到來自區內逾760份中英文出版語言的參賽作品,分別角逐18個獎項類別,範圍涵蓋攝影、經濟報導、調查報導及公共服務新聞等,今年更新增亞洲出版業協會最佳新人記者大獎。
