Dubai, 25 April 2022: The 12th edition of ME-TECH is set to take place ‘in-person’ from 10-12 May at the Address Dubai Marina Hotel, Dubai, UAE. The main forum will commence on 11 May. Richard Charlesworth, Executive Director, IHS Markit will present on how decarbonisation targets change the refining and petrochemical landscape, while SABIC and TotalEnergies will share insights on their decarbonisation journey. The event will continue with presentations from leading licensors and technology providers on the topics of improving carbon efficiency, solutions for integration, technologies for clean fuels and maximising conversions, utilising existing assets for crude to chemicals conversion, catalysts innovations and more.
According to ME-TECH delegate surveys, an event highlight and one of the most anticipated parts of the forum’s agenda is the panel discussion - Adapting to the future challenges and meeting targets for decarbonisation and sustainability is the main focus of ME-TECH’s Producer Panel, joined by senior representatives from region’s leading operators KIPIC, OQ, SABIC, SATORP and TotalEnergies.
The forum ends with a Closing Panel themed ‘Looking Ahead to 2030 & Beyond’ where esteemed panelists from Axens, Honeywell UOP, Chevron Lummus Global, Shell Catalysts & Technologies and Wood will delve deeper and discuss the role of licensors in the next 10-15 years and what technologies can be deployed to diversify operations, improve profitability and decarbonise processes and assets.
