COMPUTEX 2021 will launch “COMPUTEX 2021 Hybrid”, an OMO (Online-Merge-Offline) platform, combining onsite events and #COMPUTEXVirtual. The show strives to continually build the global technology ecosystem by showcasing advanced technologies and groundbreaking innovations. To drive the ambition for creativity and optimized R&D, TAITRA, one of the COMPUTEX organizers, organizes the COMPUTEX 2021 d&i awards, a global design and innovation contest. The d&i awards is open for submissions now.

This year, the d&i awards competition categories align COMPUTEX 2021 themes, including 5G, AI & IoT, Edge Computing, HPC, Cyber Security, Gaming, and Innovations & Startup. Furthermore, the awards also focus on the diverse trends in zero distance, remote technology and epidemic prevention. The new competition categories include "5G Hardware and Applications", "Edge Computing and HPC Application Services", "Cyber Security and Privacy Prevention", "Remote / Zero Distance Innovative Technology Applications and Services" and "Epidemic Prevention, Smart Healthcare and Applications".

An elite panel of judges from various backgrounds and professions, including ICT industry experts, venture capitalists, accelerators and media, will review submissions based on five key criteria—"Innovation", "Technical", "Functionality", "Social", " Craftsmanship and Aesthetics".

The COMPUTEX d&i awards recognize two levels of honorees. Through a rigorous selection process, the second round of selected companies will present their products to the panel of judges in person to compete for the Gold Awards and Specialty Awards.

All the winning products will be displayed at the d&i awards virtual booth at #COMPUTEXVirtual. The winning companies can use the TTS Match service to access buyers from all over the world. Moreover, TAITRA will organize d&i awards tours in Asia to promote the winning products and the winners can also attend online procurement meetings through the #COMPUTEXVirtual platform.
